Experience the serene beauty of Reinefjorden, where dramatic peaks rise from crystal-clear waters and the fjord’s sheltered bays invite a calm, scenic paddle. Our basecamp at Reienfjorden Sjøhus provides the perfect starting point for your evening kayaking adventure.
This tour is suitable for beginners and intermediate kayakers. We will explore the coastline and glide along rocky islets in a double sea kayak (single kayaks may be available upon request, subject to approval and skill level).
Depending on the month and season:
• Spring/Autumn sunset months: witness the sky shift to warm amber as the sun sinks toward the horizon, and the mountains glow with golden hour light.
• Peak summer midnight sun: enjoy extended, soft golden light that lingers over Reinefjorden, enhancing the colors of Reine’s fishermen’s cabins—bright reds, yellows, and blues—against the tranquil water.
Our guides will teach you basic kayaking skills and share insights about the local wildlife and landscape for a fun and informative experience.

Group size
We keep our group sizes small—no more than 8 kayakers—to ensure a more personal and enjoyable experience.
Duration
3 hours in total (around 2.5 hours of kayaking).
Age
From 14 year old accompanied by a parent. Please contact us for private requests or younger families.

• Local and NPF certified sea kayak instructor.

Location
Our Basecamp and meeting point are located at the pier in Reinefjorden Sjøhus. You can park in the parking lot just before the resort.
Weather conditions
We operate our tours and courses in a range of weather conditions, including rain and less-than-ideal weather. However, if wind or severe weather poses a safety risk, we will cancel the activity and provide a full refund.
